(La Crosse, Wis.) The 8th annual Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) Soup-a-Thon was a huge success, raising a record total in donations to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). The Riverside Center businesses of Kaplan Professional, SAP Americas and LHI together raised $12,000 for Children’s Miracle Network, and collected more than 250 pounds of food for WAFER. Participants compete for bragging rights and prizes in a battle that pits cook against cook, soup against soup. More than 60 soups were entered into the competition this year, which attendees got to sample for a suggested $5 donation to CMN. Local celebrities and newscasters served as judges for the competition.
